Cooking Classes Online Spring 2020

Post Update: Check out the list of all the new 2020 Spring and Summer cooking classes here

Honestly, this is not how I pictured my 2020 Spring series of cooking classes kicking off, but after several weeks of planning I have high hopes for my new online series of classes.

cooking class
The Pink Pot by Charlotte Artist Mary Kamerer

When people attend one of the hands-on cooking classes at my home, the visit generally includes a look in my “cookware closet.” Its all pegboard floor to ceiling, a la Julia Child, with two small shelves for stock pots and bakeware at the bottom and a tall rack of pot lids on the door. Students often take photos, but I never expected that one of those photos would turn into this fabulous oil painting by Charlotte Impressionist oil painter, Mary Kramerer.

As we aren’t in my kitchen looking at my cookware closet right now, I thought this interpretive visit would be a nice start to my 2020 listing of upcoming online cooking classes.

You can see more of Mary’s wonderful work at her website, here. Then, be sure to follow her on Instagram to see works of art in progress – it really is fascinating to see a painting take shape. #TellThemHeidiSentYou.

Now, that we’ve had a tour of the cookware closet, its time to get started. I can’t wait to see all of your smiling faces, even if it is only online for now. Let’s have fun and make the most of it, shall we? Its going to be a blast!

10 Reasons You’ll Love These Online Cooking Classes

  • You won’t have to worry about traffic on the way to my home or the drive out to a local farm.
  • Weather is not a factor. These classes will take place, rain or shine.
  • You can plan to join us for a cooking class even if you live out of town!
  • If the class time and day doesn’t work for you, you can still get all the info by purchasing the replay.
  • You can participate from the comfort of your own home, front porch or patio.
  • There is no dress code and you don’t have to wear shoes!
  • For those of you who have asked about bringing kids to a class, consider the replay of a class the opportunity to share the experience.
  • And, because everything is virtual, I can offer these culinary experiences at an easy on your pocket book price tag.
  • While the classes can’t be hands on, I will send you grocery lists with local sources to shop, wine pairing suggestions and recipes once you have made and confirmed your reservation. You’ll have full access to the video for class and after, so you can go back and watch it again.
  • If you can’t join us for the live class, consider purchasing a replay. You’ll receive the recipes, shopping list with local and home delivery resources, and a code to access the video of the live class.
