How to Make Milk Crumb Video Recipe

No one’s talking about this, but they should be… have you ever made milk crumb?

You know that crave-worthy crunch in the best bakery desserts? The one that’s just right—buttery, crispy, a little sweet, a little salty and absolutely addictive? That’s milk crumb, and it’s about to be your new secret weapon – and your got-to snack – in the kitchen.

It all starts with powdered milk

The magic ingredient? Real dairy powdered milk, not powdered creamer, just plain ole powdered milk! And the recipe works beautifully with powdered whole milk, powdered low fat milk and powdered lactose-free milk.

Betcha didn’t know that the same powdered milk we’re going to use for the milk crumb is what pastry chefs sneak into their ice creams for that really creamy ultra-smooth texture.

The ingredients are simple – I’ll bet you have them on hand. Powdered whole, nonfat or lactose free milk, real butter, cornstarch, salt, sugar, all purpose or gluten free flour, and white chocolate. Then, is just a little mixing, a little baking, and you’ve got a crumbly, dreamy topping for cakes, cookies, ice cream, and honestly… to eat right out of the jar, just by the spoonful (no judgment here!).
