Your Mom’s Donuts Comes to SouthPark

Donuts, Anyone? I am excited to announce a great new breakfast option for those who live in or around Charlotte’s SouthPark area. Two of my long time Charlotte faves, Upstream Restaurant and Your Mom’s Donuts just announced a sweet new partnership that is sure to thrill those who live, work or do the morning drive by Phillips Place, home to Upstream, located at 6902 Phillips Place, Charlotte, NC 28210

It all starts first thing Monday morning, November 12, 2018.  Upstream will open early at 7 am for the start of the new  Upstream Morning Cafe.  This new partnership offers south Charlotte residents, in search of a quick, delicious and convenient spot to grab coffee, tea and a little something sweet on weekday mornings, a wonderful new option. This is not the opening of a new restaurant location; but instead, an innovative breakfast offering at the long time Charlotte restaurant, known primarily for seafood, open daily for lunch and dinner and a wonderful Sunday brunch.

Upstream Restaurant is the new South Charlotte weekday stop for Your Mom’s Donuts

Upstream’s Phillip Place location offers plenty of easy parking for those who need to pick up and go. If you’ve got time to sit and sip a while, there is plenty of comfy seating plus free WiFi.  Upstream invites you to stay, get some work done, catch up on the news and enjoy a delicious start to the day.  On the menu at the new morning concept: Your Mom’s Donuts, baked fresh daily at the Matthews location on Monroe Road plus a delicious selection of Counter Culture coffee, teas, lattes and cappuccinos and other house-made treats. The breakfast-centric Morning Cafe at Upstream will be open until 10 am each weekday morning.

After the weekday donuts and coffee service, Upstream will continue to  serve lunch and dinner during regular business hours. Upstream is open Mon-Thurs 11:30am -10:00pm; Fri-Sat 11:30am-11pm. On Sunday’s enjoy Upstream’s popular “Unlimited Brunch” from 10:00am-2:00pm and  Sunday Dinner 5:30pm-9pm. More about Your Mom’s Donuts

Your Mom’s Donuts is a craft donut shop serving the greater Charlotte area since 2013.  Your Mom’s Donuts features signature square donuts made with local ingredients. This local sweet shop started as a home delivery service, but quickly grew to a brick and mortar location. The original shop is located at 11025 Monroe Road in Matthews. They are open Monday – Saturday at 7 am and on Sundays at 8 am, serving till the doughnuts run out. My advice is always to get there early for the best selection.

Late this past summer, Your Mom’s Donuts owner, Courtney Buckley opening in Charlotte at Park Road Shopping Center, to rave reviews. The cute, tiny little donut kiosk is located directly across from Black Hawk Hardware. This location opens at 7:30am Monday-Saturday and at 8:30 on Sundays until the donuts are gone – again, the early birds will get the best selection.
